The new Nodal Ninja R-D3L Levelling Base WITH built-in click stop mechanism!.
HARDWARE UPGRADE FOR THE NODAL NINJA NN3 AND NN5 PANORAMA HEADS: GREAT NEW PRODUCT FROM NODAL NINJA - the all new R-D3L with new EZ-Leveler-MKII built in. FITS TO : NODAL NINJA NN3/NN5/NN5L - remove your existing rotator to fit this unit, replaces your existing rotator AND means you no longer require a separate levelling unit!! - Brilliant!! Users can now adjust very fine leveling with loading of heavy gear on top. Unlike leveling using ball head or tripod legs, leveling remains stationary after each adjustment. No more need to compensate for the effect of loading. Maximum angle of adjustment is 5 degrees. (Cases not yet available). 3 selectable detent interval options. You can select 6, 8, or 10 click stops. By skipping alternate clicks, one can get a choice of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 stops. Detent interval can be changed in less than 3 seconds By a simple flip of detent switches, detent interval setting can be changed from one to another on the fly Without moving the tripod, you can point NN in any direction. You can now upgrade your old style click stop rotator on the Nodal Ninja NN3/ NN5 models by fitting this leveller/rotator and have the benefits of a leveller, no need for a seperate click stop rotator - great saving in weight and size. We took our Ninja 3 on holiday with the R-D3L base to photograph the island of Majorca last year, and are seriously impressed with this piece of kit.
