Nodal Ninja Ultimate Modular System is the designer’s dream come true ever since the release of first Nodal Ninja SPH-1 seven years ago. It is based on Arca Swiss compatible system, the industry standard for high end photographic support system, together with innovative features badly needed by panoramic photographers. Precision CNC machined from premium T6061 aluminum and anodized, it has high precision, accuracy, durability and long lifetime all in one. The first model of this modular system is the M1 which has 7.5 degree precise positive stops at the upper rotator, supporting lenses from ultra wide angles to 200mm telephotos. It allows templates to be used to speed up stitching and reduce stitching errors.

The Ultimate M Series, released in 2011 is the latest addition the range of tripod heads to allow the photographer to produce high quality, precision 360 degree images time after time.

Nodal Ninja Ultimate M1-S-RD8

This the the smaller of the 2 base configurations for the Ultimate M1 series pano heads. Ships with or without the 'RD-16' advanced click stop rotator base mechanism.

16 different degree stop increments (with equivalent number of stops around) include:
* 3.75 degrees (96 stops)
* 5 degrees (72 stops)
* 6 degrees (60 stops)
* 7.5 degrees (48 stops)
* 10 degrees (36 stops)
* 12 degrees (30 stops)
* 15 degrees (24 stops)
* 18 degrees (20 stops)
* 20 degrees (18 stops)
* 24 degrees (15 stops)
* 30 degrees (12 stops)
* 36 degrees (10 stops)
* 45 degrees (8 stops)
* 60 degrees (6 stops)
* 90 degrees (4 stops)
* 120 degrees (3 stops)

NOTE: Also available WITHOUT a rotator for users of previous models which included RD8 / RD12/ RD16 rotators - you can use your existing rotator, just add the Ultimate M1-S.

M1-S Pre-production (PP) units: first batch of production, functionally the same as final production units. But the manufacturer believes there is still room to improve the finishing of the products to make it more attractive and more scratch resistant. There may be minor tweaks in design to facilitate the manufacturing processes. As a reward for early support, these Pre Production units are offered at a discount of 25% off the final production price - your chance to save while limited stock remains!!

NOTE: Ultimate M1 series heads require a 'camera plate' at a cost of £24.99 - ORDER now and the camera plate ships with 'Pre-Production' units at no extra charge.
