NN5L (Lite) Features include:
* Longer arms than the NN3 model (about 40mm longer than NN3). This helps to accommodate larger cameras like the D3 or MK II, MK III, and cameras with battery packs. Larger lenses like 17-40mm or 70-200mm F2.8 can also easily be accommodated .
*Upper arm rotator.
* Supports Camera/Lens combinations up to 5-7kgs.
* Very precise detent mechanism.
* As small as 10 degree stops in lower arm rotator are possible. Detent rings can be disabled on the fly without any tool.
* More precise rotator base with locking function.
* Angular increment of 2.5 degree in the rotators' markings, good for making high resolution mosaics.
* 4 rail stops for "remembering" camera and lens settings.

The Nodal Ninja NN5L is a specially designed spherical tripod head allowing the photographer to adjust a camera/lens “entrance pupil” [nodal point] exactly over its correct rotational axis. This helps to eliminate parallax error inherent when shooting multiple images side by side.

Without parallax errors a photographer can seamlessly stitch multiple photographs together forming a larger higher resolution composite image.

NN5L ships with standard camera mounting plate (N-CP1),10º/12º and 45º/60º 15º/20º detent rings, rails stops, hex key, washers and hard shelled case.

If your camera has an offset tripod mount (from center of lens) you will need to order the T30 t-adapter separately.
