What IS a 'Factory Irregular'?

"Factory Irregulars". The lower rails may have a bit of dust in the paint finish, there may be a few tiny pores in casting, and possibly small scratches in paint. They are still fully functional and covered by the usual standard warranty.

Why have some Nodal Ninja Heads been discontinued before any new models / replacements are announced or available?

The mould or 'casting' used to manufacture some of the parts has reached the end of its usable life and can no longer meet the high quality standards Nodal Ninja strives for and customers have come to expect. So rather than spending the money to create a replacement casting, they are working hard to bring newer production models online.

For example the Nodal Ninja 5 model has been on the market for nearly 3 years and this is like losing a good friend. There are many NN5 users out there and dedication to fine workmanship has proven itself with less than a .01% return rate from warranty issues.

Don't worry Nodal Ninja panorama head users - we'll have replacement parts, should you lose or accidentally break a piece.
