Making A Purchase

Our online secure transaction processing partner accept all major credit and debit cards. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

Customer credit card orders are 'pre-authorised' when orders are placed, the transaction is completed and payment taken when goods are packed and ready to despatch. Our web site transactions take place via an encrypted connection to a secure card processing service. This is for your security.

Shipping And Handling

Orders may be despatched within 24 hours (subject to stock). Within the UK, any delivery charge is calculated according to the weight/value of the items selected and orders are sent by Courier. Orders may incur a delivery and handling charge as published and shown on your order prior to 'checkout'.

Shipping And Handling - EEC Orders EEC, orders can be sent by International courier service, UPS, Fedex etc., and the delivery charge is calculated according to the weight of the order. Delivery times may vary between 3 days and 15 days, depending on the destination country and choice of delivery service.

Delivery Schedule UK Mainland

We always endeavour to despatch 'express' orders within 2 working days of authorisation of your payment (subject to stock availability). UK Mainland orders are normally received within a further 2 working days. Allow 7 working days for standard delivery. Please note that our standard courier delivery service is not guaranteed to arrive on any specific day / time. IF YOU REQUIRE GUARANTEED DELIVERY BY A CERTAIN DEADLINE THEN THIS CAN ONLY BE ARRANGED AT AN EXTRA COST AND MUST BE ADVISED AT THE TIME OF ORDER. Value Added Tax

EEC Orders EU Business Orders outside the UK For EU businesses who are registered for VAT in their home country. We can process sales nett of VAT. When placing an order online you can enter your VAT details and your order will be processed in accordance with current regulations. Please contact the sales office if you require any further details. (international 00 44 113 246 3088). For the absence of doubt, we will only ship orders to EU customer delvery addresses outside the UK nett of VAT when a customer VAT registration number is entered online on the 'checkout page' or advised PRIOR to the order being processed for payment. All VAT registration numbers entered must be correct and pass validation.

VAT refunds for travellers departing from the European Community (EC) 'The VAT Retail Export Scheme'.
Please note that as we are a MAIL ORDER only supplier that we are not permitted to make sales under the VAT Retail Export Scheme (this scheme requires that such sales are made face to face by shopkeepers, who at the point of sale are required to complete the relevant paperwork i.e. a VAT 407 form and obtain identification details from the purchaser, i.e. passport and a signature to the completed form). Transaction fees, charges, processing Where a payment method (other than a purchase via a 'buy' button on our site, followed by payment by credit / debit card ) is chosen by the customer which involves additional fees, charges or administration fees by any third party, for example (but not to the exclusion of any others) Bank, PayPal, MoneyBookers, Blue Light, Procurement card, OB10, CCNow etc. Then these charges shall be at the expense of the customer.

Proof of delivery.
We ship orders with a variety of couriers and postal services where a signature is required on delivery, and aim to send tracking details to the customer e-mail address as entered when your order was placed once your shipment is with the courier. Almost all couriers and postal services now use electronic proof of delivery systems and online tracking. These systems often permit confirmation to be checked by: the name of the signatory, the location to which the shipment was delivered (reception, goods inwards, gatehouse etc.) and the time of delivery. We can supply details of this POD if required for a period of up to 28 days from the date of delivery. 'Hard Copy' signatures may not always be available, and where available can only be supplied if requested within 28 days of the date of delivery.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with updates as to the progress of back ordered items. We aim to have any standard item in UK stock within 5 days.

Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed, using 128 bit encryption.

We will: Acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.
Advise you how long it will take to resolve the complaint.

Returns

We aim to guarantee your satisfaction. If the product you receive is not as you expected, you may return it for a refund/exchange - PLEASE NOTE ALL RETURNS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A 'RETURNED MERCHANDISE AUTHORISATION NUMBER' - see our RETURNS FORM.
